Elvis grew up in borderline poverty, a loner, and an “average” student. Even his 8th grade music teacher gave him a “C” grade and basically told him he had no singing talent. Even when his health was deteriorating, Elvis mercilessly continued to push himself with an intense 1974 tour and he kept touring right up until his unfortunate demise. From childhood to death, Elvis never sat idly by while others lived their dreams; he pursued satisfaction and as a result, he is forever immortalized in our hearts.
