The next time you find yourself challenged to Elvis trivia try to incorporate some of the following answers:
1. When Elvis’ family first moved to Memphis in the mid-nineteenth century they were poor as dirt. They actually lived in government housing.
2. The first recorded Elvis induced riot took place in Jacksonville, FL after Elvis invited all the girls watching the show to the backstage area.
3. When Elvis was drafted his movie studio requested a 2 month deferment so he could finish shooting his current film.
4. Elvis won his first Grammy for a gospel song, “How Great Thou Art.”
5. He’s one of the few artists to ever have 10 consecutive songs go 1 on the Billboard top charts.
6. You can rent the Chapel in the Woods at Graceland for only 595 if you’d like to get married there.
7. Elvis’ favorite sandwich was a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich that he would have flown in if necessary.

What is it with couple’s infatuations to get married in Vegas? Even more odd is those who want to get married with the king, Elvis that is. Each year thousands of people have their nuptials in the marriage hot spot of Las Vegas. They often can role play or have elaborate costumes, but some choose to get married with the king present. The King of rock n roll that is, Elvis Aron Presley.

Most wedding chapels actually keep a few of these impersonators on staff just for weddings. A bride can be accompanied down the aisle by Elvis himself.Check out this link here. When they reach the alter, the King can serenade her with a couple of famous Elvis songs of her choice. One would think this would be rather odd, but actually, it is one of the more popular wedding packages in Vegas. There is actually a chapel in Las Vegas that is dedicated just to the memory of Elvis.

After the death of Elvis on August 16, 1977, it seems that his popularity has soared. Perhaps, Elvis has been popular among the wedding crowd, for his love ballets like: ‘I can’t help falling in love with you’ and ‘Love Me Tender.’ It was clear that Priscilla was the love of his life, since they got together when she was 14.

Graceland is still running in full operation in memory to Elvis. Some claim that Elvis is alive and well and working as an undercover DEA officer. While, this is a nice dream, it just seems like a desperate attempt to hope that the king of rock ‘n’ roll is still living among us.

The greatest rock ‘n’ roll legend of our time passed on too soon for sure. Honoring his memory, helps us keep him alive. Having a wedding with him, is just the way for any diehard fan, to prove their love and devotion.

If you are looking for a man who was more about walking the walk instead of talking the talk, look no further than Mr. Elvis Aaron Presley. Nothing would discourage Elvis from his destiny.
Elvis grew up in borderline poverty, a loner, and an “average” student. Even his 8th grade music teacher gave him a “C” grade and basically told him he had no singing talent. But, instead of being disheartened, criticism only fueled the future King’s fire. The next day, with guitar in hand, he surprised the class and sang his heart out for the teacher. She then begrudgingly admitted he was a good singer, but she still didn’t care for his style.
Elvis’ career was as hard and fast as a locomotive; he was always trying to outdo himself. His crazy schedule included touring, cutting records, making guest appearances on Ed Sullivan, Milton Berle, and Steve Allen, and 33 feature films. On top of that, he somehow he found time to get married, father a child, and service a stint in the Army.
Even when his health was deteriorating, Elvis mercilessly continued to push himself with an intense 1974 tour and he kept touring right up until his unfortunate demise. From childhood to death, Elvis never sat idly by while others lived their dreams; he pursued satisfaction and as a result, he is forever immortalized in our hearts.

It’s been almost 34 years since the death of Elvis Presley, but his legend is just as large today as it was at the height of his popularity. But what is it that made a simple truck driver born in Tupelo Mississippi who just wanted to record a simple song for him mother into, not just the most beloved entertainer of his time, but still a larger than life legend, even after his death. Many have their own theories regarding this phenomenon, and I’m not different in that respect.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here.

I believe that a large part of the reason why so many of us hold the memory of Elvis in such reverence is because of the man himself, not the legend he became, but because of whom Elvis really was inside. This was a man, who despite the pressures he himself felt, gave everything he had to his fans and those around him. Although he was worshipped by many, he never lost the perspective of being a simple man with a kind heart. While many celebrities contribute money and time to worthy causes, nobody had the touch of Elvis, who else would take a ring off their finger to give away.

Elvis impersonators are rocking the look and rolling in the dough. Even though he has been gone to that great stage in the sky, he is still one of the most impersonated celebrities in the world. He had the look, the sound and the popularity every woman wanted to love and every man wanted to be. Today, he is imitated all over the world by every age group and both genders. Even the youngest of toddlers can get an Elvis look with the help of mom and dad.

If you have a yearning to be an Elvis impersonator you have to begin with the look and the sound of old soul. There are sites that cater to the Elvis fan and you can order clothing for concerts to suit each need and song. Once you have those two down, the moves will follow and so will the fans. Entertain family and friends in your own home until you know everything is right. Next, hire out to community events, weddings, parties and other local shows until you everyone begins to learn your name and ask for a show. Raise your entertainment prices slowly and within a very short time you will be rolling in the dough, too.
